Data we process
When you enquire or book, we may process your name, contact details, selected service, appointment preferences, messages, billing details and the employment documents you choose to provide. Basic server logs may include IP address, requested page, browser information and timestamp for security and reliable delivery.
Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiries and consultation material to take steps at your request and perform our contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Invoice records are retained to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Security logs and limited business correspondence may be processed for our legitimate interests in protecting the site and handling claims (Article 6(1)(f)). Optional analytics, if introduced, will rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a)); rejecting optional cookies does not affect the service.
Recipients and processors
Data may be handled by contracted hosting, email, video-meeting, secure storage and accounting providers only as needed for their functions. We do not sell personal data. A specialist receives information only with your instruction or another lawful basis, and unnecessary identifying details should be removed first.
Retention
Unengaged enquiries are normally deleted after six months. Consultation files and correspondence are normally retained for three years after completion to address follow-up questions or claims, unless a longer statutory period applies. Tax and invoice records are retained for the period required by German law. Security logs are generally deleted within 30 days.
International transfers
We prefer providers processing data in the European Economic Area. If a provider transfers data outside the EEA, we require an applicable adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary safeguards, or another lawful GDPR transfer mechanism. Details relevant to your engagement are available on request.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent for future processing. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Exercising a right is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Required and optional data
Contact and relevant document information may be necessary to assess or perform a consultation. If it is not provided, we may be unable to accept the engagement. Optional dates and cookie consent can be withheld without preventing ordinary site use.
